THACH DO ANH

Anh Thach (Andy) is a finance and banking specialist with 20 years of experience in various management positions. Prior to joining Mirai Asia Holdings, Anh Thach served as Director of Strategy and Business Development cum Head of Finance at the Millitary Petrochemical Corporation (MIPEC). He also worked many years as Head of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Northern Region at the Vietnam International Bank (VIB). He began his career in Vietnam in 2010 as a senior investment officer at VinaSecurities—the brokerage arm of VinaCapital. Currently, Anh Thach is also a part-time Lecturer at Greenwich University Vietnam and the Swinburne University of Technology (Vietnam campus), teaching Business Strategy and Financial Decision making. Anh is a Phi Beta Kappa holder of a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Grinnell College (I.A., USA, 2001), and an MBA in Banking and Finance at the University of Wales (Bangor, U.K., 2004). Before coming back to Vietnam, Anh also worked a few years at Birmingham Business School (UK) as a researcher and visiting lecturer.
