KEFONG LEE

Kefong Lee, with diverse experience in finance and banking field, specializes in early startup investment and their overseas expansion development.  Area of focus has been on fintech, cybersecurity, SaaS, as well as medical technology.  Prior to startup investment, Lee built his investment and equity market experience at Mizuho Securities ( Tokyo ) and Okasan Securities ( HK ), where he worked with hedgefund and high net worth clients to provide company analysis advices and market insights.  In the fund business, Lee was the product manager of Longshort fund at Sparx Asset Management in Japan, which was the largest hedgefund in Asia at the time.  Lee was also the relationship manager of financial institutions at HSBC Tokyo, which provided banking services to Japanese insurances corporations and banks in global locations.

Currently Lee also leads Cynthes Capital, a boutique investment company in Taiwan. With an investment from a family associated with large corporate group of Taiwan, Lee identifies competitive technology, strong execution team, or serial entrepreneurs in order to help their growth journey overseas. 

Lee has BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, with dean’s honor.  Lee also has one year to toward degree of MS in Mathematical Statistics and Probability at NYU Stern School of Business.
