OMIYAGE – WHAT IS MORE SPECIAL THAN A SOUVENIR?
Because they are both souvenirs that convey the joy and excitement of the trip to those close to them, Omiyage and Souvenir are often confused as one. Speaking of Omiyage, that gift must be produced locally for the tourist, and Souvenirs can be purchased anywhere. Omiyage are bought as gifts for others and are usually obligatory, whereas Souvenir buys for himself and occasionally for others. It is Omiyage’s compulsion that becomes an obsession for both travel and pocket.
